Kim Barrett (they/them) is a freelance writer and software developer. Born in Yorkshire, Kim spent a decade in Oxford and now lives in Carmarthen, South Wales. Kim writes about chronic health conditions, queerness and the environment, as well as their experience as an altruistic surrogate.

Kim's fiction has been published by Foglifter and Queerlings; they're currently working on their first novel. Kim's non-fiction writing has appeared in the Guardian, the Independent and the Huffington Post.
